Background and Objective: Congenital heart defects (CHD) represent the most frequent human birth defects, occurring in almost 1% of all live newborns. Understanding effects gender prevalence CHD has a key role defining personalized prevention, disease identification, prognosis definition individualized therapeutic strategies.
